Colors And Shapes Inspire Me...
Utilizing bold colors and dramatic stroke styles, the artowrks are a statement all their own. Often laden with textural paint, and always underlaid with one or another vibrant color that peaks through throughout the painting, sometimes an exciting red, other times a muted linen, each works to coalesce a work to a single cohesive work.
As I work in oil, primarily, and sketching media, the subjects tend toward vast landscapes regardless of actual size, of common objects seen in uncommon ways and engaging portraits.
