Hello and welcome! I love making art, and hope you love my art as well.
Always with a interest in creating my own art – starting with my own (horse-based!) stories and coloring books, and a keen eye for detail, I’ve always enjoyed trying to capture things perfectly. I have moved past that now, knowing that I can get there, but have been enamored by the interplay of colors against each other and the textural aspects of paint on canvas.
elseI work primarily on oils, typically on canvas, linen or on wood panel, depending on mood, and sometimes with cold wax for texture. I am always restless, always looking for something else that will let me explore more about the media. Periodically, depending on subject, acrylic or watercolor seep into the work stream. And every once in a while, I will tackle a dimensional piece using carving tools on marble or alabaster. It is supremely exhilarating to watch the form emerge.
Step over and take a look at the work. I hope you find it as inspiring as I have been creating it. Forever on that quest to find out something new about my materials, my subjects or their designs.
